Dancing Our Roots: Sharing Indonesian Culture with the Cambridge Community
Boston Cendrawasih proudly showcased Indonesian cultural heritage at the Community Food Bazaar in Cambridge, MA, bringing to life beloved traditional dances for the New England community. Our performance of Tari Ratoh Jaroe from Aceh and the graceful Tari Piring from West Sumatra introduced local audiences to the rich diversity, rhythm, and storytelling of Indonesia’s performing arts. Through these vibrant dance presentations, we celebrated our roots and strengthened cultural appreciation across communities.
